Since its inception in December 1991, Widewater HOA has upheld a strong tradition of community stewardship, operating as a domestic nonprofit corporation under the leadership of dedicated officers including CEO, Secretary, and CFO.

Newnan is the county seat of Coweta County, located roughly 35–40 miles southwest of Atlanta along I-85. It spans about 19.5 square miles, with a 2023 estimated population of around 44,940.
History & Identity — “City of Homes”
Incorporated in 1828, Newnan was named for General Daniel Newnan and thrived on the cotton industry and railroad investments during the mid-19th century. During the Civil War, it earned the nickname “hospital city” due to operating as a medical hub for both sides, preserving much of its antebellum architecture. Known today as the “City of Homes,” Newnan contains six historic districts and over 40 recognized historic structures on the National Register.
