Since its inception in December 1991, Widewater HOA has upheld a strong tradition of community stewardship, operating as a domestic nonprofit corporation under the leadership of dedicated officers including CEO, Secretary, and CFO.

Newnan is the county seat of Coweta County, located roughly 35–40 miles southwest of Atlanta along I-85. It spans about 19.5 square miles, with a 2023 estimated population of around 44,940.

History & Identity — “City of Homes”
Incorporated in 1828, Newnan was named for General Daniel Newnan and thrived on the cotton industry and railroad investments during the mid-19th century. During the Civil War, it earned the nickname “hospital city” due to operating as a medical hub for both sides, preserving much of its antebellum architecture.
